What I would like to see is a retractionary database control. Once product sent, auto delete all data except shipping product(s) and timestamp and order number. Then we can always find back the order in case something went wrong. That’s what we do now manually, but I would love to see the customer could actually control this database instead of me, being the merchant. I don’t want to be able to copy the data. Also I believe it could be interesting to start a shipping company that does give customers a way to just create the shipping label and the merchant can just do a drop off, of the requested product and never see any details of who ordered. Just got a QR code and had to drop the order at the drop off point where it’s scanned and finds its way. This would mean full privacy for online customers. Now people still need to trust me with their shipping data, email address and ip address. I’ve been in the ledger hack and can tell you I’m very much focused on doing this right. You still have to trust me though. In a decade from now plebs will still order with BitcoinBrabant.com i hope. The sovereign shop gives me and my family the feeling that we help the bitcoin ecosystem a tiny bit. And every day I drive a package to the shipping shop I’m happy someone will be more sovereign after receiving our products. This is the highlight of my day in bitcoin. Knowing the foundation of bitcoin is built slowly and we are still early. In the meanwhile we’ve reached order number #1134. Of which are many tests and non paid orders, but we’ve shipped hundreds of sovereign devices. Miners, Signing Devices, backup plates, seal bags, thick seed qr/word paper (self developed). It’s been fun building this over the past years. Bear markets are for building clearly 😉

As an engineer, this hits. It really feels like the engineers are joining at this stage because they feel we need to fix the money first before we can improve the world again.

We shook hands in Amsterdam, there was no time unfortunately to say only one thing. You need zaps back on IOS. Don’t know how you can achieve it, but that’s what you need. Using apps in TestFlight now to just be able to tapzap…

Very nice to meet you, not enough time unfortunately. In that sense it’s sad you’re anonymous, Gurtis and I would have loved a picture. But we might see each other in the UK at some point. But first some more PoW 😉

Some people might have already picked this up. I have become chairman of the United Bitcoin Companies the Netherlands. This group of companies has recently won its second lawsuit against the Dutch central bank and is working together with multiple institutions to improve the bitcoin landscape in the Netherlands. It is for instance hard to get a bank account if you start a bitcoin company. We’re currently in the process of finalizing a sector document in cooperation with the Dutch banks, so there’s clear guidance and possibilities instead of standard rejection of bank account requests. We want to make sure that the Netherlands is not pushing every company abroad. In this podcast in Dutch we warn the Dutch regulator for overregulation and excessive cost which might send all companies abroad under micar. The upcoming year will be interesting to say the least. Thanks everyone for your support!

GM Nostr PV! Standing still in a traffic jam early morning (that’s why my face is red, quite some bright brake lights). The miner babies can’t stop moaning to be plugged in. Looking forward to be up and running.

This is Adriaan, he’s like a second father for me. I grew up in a rural area and my neighbors across the street Miet and Adriaan were a big part of our upbringing. He was one of the last sovereign milk barrel transporters by horse cart. National horse ploughing champion and fixer of everything you can think of. “I never thought I would be refurbishing computers at 80+ years old, heck the computer was not there most of my life”. Adriaan is a sovereign man, I learned a lot from him. Thankful he helps me out with our projects. Just not today, because today it’s Sunday. And on a Sunday you don’t work.

In 15 hours our meetup in Eindhoven will start. We’ll have an amazing presentation coming up by npub14mge80n and will close the meetup with npub1q2sz949's stranded. Can’t wait for the moment to see the documentary. Just tested the setup and the startshot looks amazing.
